- 1. Determining your audience: A worksheet. Who is your target audience? Where are they located? How old are they? Take these steps before beginning your Facebook advertising.
- 2. LOCATION: Are your customers in a particular city or suburb? Write down where your customers are located. DEMOGRAPHICS: How old are your customers? What is their gender? Who do they work for? What is their financial status? Write down what your ideal customer looks like! INTERESTS: List 3 broad interests that Facebook can target and then list 3-5 other pages whose fans you would like to target.
- 3. BEHAVIOURS: Are your customers well traveled? Do they constantly use social media on their mobile phones? Do they often attend seasonal events? Write down your ideal customers behaviours. CONNECTIONS: Include or exclude people who like your page or friends of people who like your page. (As an FYI, you can only include connections to a page that you manage). What pages can you connect? Use this information here to build your target audience when Facebook advertising. Good luck!
