§  Go to ‘My CV’ by selecting it on

the menu

§  Start by completing your Basic Data. Click on ‘Edit’ to enter the page.

§  Note, that part of the information (phone

number, email and location) you already gave in the registration flow. You can change them here if needed.

§  Set your Talent Pool Visibility as Enabled if you wish to be visible for employers when they search for candidates. Or keep it Disabled in case you don’t want to be seen.

§  Add a Headline to briefly describe your profession, or area of study and/or current status. For example: ‘Software developer’ or ‘Agriculture student looking for an internship’

§  In the Career Intro you can express your career goals and aspirations. The more relevant information you include, the better the chances of impressing an employer.

§  Update your Date of Birth and add a presentable photo of yourself.

§  Once done with your Basic Data, you will proceed to the most important part: Adding your Work Experience, Education and Skills. (And if you wish, also Associations and Hobbies)

§  Click on ‘+Add’ to open a page for edit. §  Once you have filled in these, you are ready to

apply for jobs.

NOTE: Add any Work Experience and Education that you feel are relevant for the type of opportunities that you are looking for. Our recommendation system uses this information to pick you the best suitable jobs and learning content, so be sure to fill this part carefully!

7 Add all the details for a previous or current Work Experience:  

§  Job title: The title you held/hold

§  Employer: The organisation you work(ed) for. (Or write “self-employed” if you have worked independently.)

§  Company size: An estimate of the amount of people working in the company

§  Start and End date: Mark here when your employment started and finished. Or tick Current work if you are still employed by them.

§  Profession: Select the profession that your role matches with. §  Industry: Select the type of industry the company represents. (E.g.

if you are a sales person in a retail firm, select: Sales marketing, promotion as Profession, and Retail, wholesale as Industry)

§  Job level: Mark here the level of your position within the company.

§  Description: Write here a brief description of the role and your main achievements. How have you added value to the company?

  Once finished, click ‘Next’

§  Complete adding a Work Experience by selecting and adding the Skills that you used in this job.

§  Click on ‘Add’

§  A Skill Group selection opens. Click on the category of the skills that you wish to include.

§  Select all Skills that apply. For example: if you have worked in customer service, select it from the skill list. Etc.

§  Click ‘Done’ once you have finished adding skills.

§  Or click ‘Back’ if you wish to change the Skill

category.

Adding Skills

§  Confirm the skills you have added in the previous screen or continue adding more. You can add skills from multiple categories.

§  Just Click on ‘Add’ to continue selecting Skills.   §  When you have added all skills you wish to include,

click on ‘Save’.

11 Your education is an equally important part of your CV, so be sure to list your most recent degree or certificate be it from primary school or university.  NOTE: You can include your education even if you are still studying.

§  School name: Name the institution you attend(ed) §  School www: Add the webpage address, if you know it §  Degree name: If applicable, add the degree (e.g. bachelor,

diploma, certificate,…) You can also add the degree you are studying for even if you have not yet graduated.

§  Grade: Here you can add the grade you received. Note, this is not obligatory. (E.g. if you graduated with honors, you may want to mention it.)

§  Start and end date: Mark here when your school started and finished. Or tick Current school if you are still studying.

§  Education level: Add here the level of education you completed or are pursuing.

§  Description: If you want to give more details, e.g. a specialization that you feel relevant to mention, you can do it here.

  Once you are finished, click on ‘Save’

12 In case you added a professional education, there is one more step. §  Select the corresponding Profession that this education

is connected to. For example: if you have studied marketing, then you will select Sales, marketing, promotion.

§  Click on ‘Save’ to save your selection and return to your CV.

13   Skills §  Here you can add any extra skills you have in addition to

those you already gave for a Work Experience. For example: If you have learned some useful skills while volunteering or in a hobby etc.  

  Language Skills §  Language Skills are an important part of your CV. Be sure

to add all languages in which you have a working fluency.

§    You may also add any Associations and Hobbies that you think will add value to your CV.

Click on ‘+Add’ to open the pages for edit.

Adding Language Skills §  Language: Select here the language you wish to add §  Spoken and written language level: Select here level of

your fluency (from none to native) in both written and spoken language.

Click on ‘Save’ to save your selection and return to your CV.

Asking for a Reference   §  As the last part of completing your CV, you can ask for

references from relevant contacts.   §  References can be connected either to a particular Work

Experience or Skill.   §  Click on ‘Ask for reference’ and use the form to request

a reference from someone you know, and who has agreed to be your referee.

  §  Alternatively you can upload references as a file.

However, we recommend you to use the Fuzu referral, as they will be directly visible under your CV and in your job applications. This saves the employers’ time.
