2. kindle-linkss-0.12.N.zip

Extract them and get the .bin files. Now connect Kindle Paperwhite to computer and copy the update_python_0.6.N_install.bin file to the root directory. Eject your device and update the firmware.

After the updating finish, connect Kindle Paperwhite to computer again and copy the update_linkss_0.12.N_install.bin file to the root directory. Then do as the previous step – eject the device and update its firmware again.

Now connect your device to computer. You can find there are three new folders at the root directory of Kindle Paperwhite. Open “linkss” and you can find a folder called “screensaver”. Just put the screensaver you’ve mad to this folder and all jobs done. Remember that the new screensaver must have a dimension of 758*1024.
