How to Attract New Clients Immediately

Are you tired of chasing clients? Would you like them to come knocking onyour door? You can attract new clients by speaking to their pain. Sometimeswe think we know their actual pain when in reality we are referring tosymptoms of their pain.

How do we find what our client needs or wants?Talk with one or more of your favorite clients you helped transform their life orachieve an accomplishment. Ask them how your help transformed or madetheir life better? What were the one or two things which really helped themovercome their obstacle?

Listen to their response. Take in their language. Record the conversation ifpossible. These are the words and phrases you want to use when you reachout to prospective clients in all of your marketing on social media, speakingwith them directly or to a group.

Don’t Skip Over Their Pain!Greg Habstritt coaches a woman on one of his training events live. Let’s callher Mary. She coaches parents on assisting their children through significantmilestones. When Mary talked with prospective parents, they would nod andsmile, tell her sounds like she is doing something helpful, but they were notinterested at this time.

She was not speaking to their pain. They were not worried about themilestones their children were missing. What kept them up at night was theirconstant arguing with their child about everything, and feeling more like aparent cop than having a relationship with their child.

After Mary started talking with some of her favorite clients how she helpedthem, she realized the common thread. The parents wanted their children toadmire them not resent them. She helped the parents develop an openrelationship to work through struggles in a healthy manner. Her uniqueapproach helped the parents and the children both be able to enjoy each otheragain.

You see Mary knew how she could help them, and what she does. However,clients are not concerned about how we help them. They want to know whatresults will we bring to their pain and problem. Mary skipped over their painand was offering the sale of what she could do for them. Don’t Skip Over ThePain!

Connect With Them EmotionallyWhen Mary connected with the parent’s emotions, clients started seeking herout. She had the solution for their problem. Ask the client what is keepingthem up at night or do they know the obstacle holding them back, slowingthem down or stopping them from achieving their desired result.

Create a questionnaire to help you learn more about your clients when youstart working with them. If you already have one, evaluate your questions. Arethe questions helping you find their pain? Are you able to reveal the obstaclesholding them back? Ask them what is slowing them down, standing in the wayor stopping them from achieving their desired result.

Be Clear On How You Can Help Your ClientsCoaches often throw around words like transformation, change, and othervague words on how they can help their clients. You want to be specific onhow you can bring transformation.

As in our example with Mary above, she helped her clients children reachmilestones, but what does it really mean? When she clearly stated, “I helpchildren admire their parents and not resent them as they deal with severestruggles,” this opened up more doors for Mary.

The language resonated with her clients. The parents loved their kids andwanted to help them, but they were not able to with their current methods.Mary showed them different ways to approach and guide their children.

Clients want specific language. Make them feel as if you have been in theirhead or reading their journal.

Six Steps To Attract Your Best Client!1. Understand their pain to know what they really want.2. Speak in their language. Clearly and Specifically.3. Don’t skip over the pain to the sale.4. Meet them where they are now.5. Give them a solution to THEIR Pain.6. Feed them emotionally.

Utilizing these six steps will create a connection with your prospective clientsbecause you are focusing on their problem and solution, and pulls them inemotionally. Speaking their language is key to attracting more clients.
