Symptom

How to archive different objects such as requests in Access Request, logs in Emergency Access Management in GRC Access Control 10.0

Environment

GRC Access Control 10.0

Cause

Customer would like to archive requests or logs in GRC Access Control 10.0

Resolution

Use transaction SARA to archive Access Control 10.0 objects. The followings are objects to archive

GRFNMSMP - Archiving for GRC AC 2010 Requests

SPM_AU_LOG - SPM Audit Log ArchiveSPM_CH_LOG - Change Log ArchiveSPM_OC_LOG - SPM OS Command Log ArchivingSPM_SY_LOG - SPM System Log Archival

Steps to archive:

1. Select the Archiving object you want to archive in SARA

2. Clicked on Write

3. Create variant.

4. Select "Maintain".

5. Specify the dates from which you want to archive the Data.

6. Click on the Start Date .

7. Specify as immediate.

8. Specify the Spool parameter and check (possible to leave spool field empty).

9. Execute

10. Archiving Job has started .

Read archived file by Select the Read option in SARA Transaction.
