Do you want to achieve FLAWLESS LASHES each and every time whether you are new to lashes or consider yourself a pro? Here is a Checklist of the primary tools that are needed to accomplish the following objectives: I want to apply lashes that are the right size for my unique facial features. I want my lashes to look as natural as possible, no matter the style or dramatic length. I want my lashes to last throughout the day well into the night. I want to extend the lifetime of my lashes for more repeated use. I want to minimize if not eliminate any potential damage to my natural lashes. 1. Your Favorite Pair Of Lashes Instead of using your fingers, use a pair of slant tweezers or the curved tip of an eyelash applicator in order to gently remove false lashes from the packaging. This will prevent accidental tears of the lashes. The less pulling that occurs, the longer your lashes will last and the more natural they will look on your face as they maintain their original shape with proper handling. 2. Stainless Steel Precision Scissors Before applying adhesive, first ensure that the lash is not too long for your natural eye shape and size. Use a pair of precision scissors to trim the lashes. Then, place the freshly trimmed lash against your eyes again and make any additional trims for the perfect fit. Make sure to clip the outer end of the lash. If you clip the inner-side of the lash [that have the shorted hairs], it will not look natural. The lashes will not be as comfortable if longer lash hairs are constantly pocking your inner-eye crease. A quality adhesive provides a good ‘tacky’ texture in order for lashes to stay in place for the entire day. You also want to have an adhesive that will not irritate your eyes or damage your natural lashes over time. If discomfort and eye irritation occurs, then find a different brand of adhesive for sensitive eyes. 3. A Top Quality Lash Adhesive 4. Dual-Sided Lash Applicator The curved applicator side is shaped not only like the strip lashes that you are looking to apply, but it is also the shape of your eye where the lashes will be applied. First, use the curved side to place the lash strip against your natural lash line. Next, use this same side to ‘squeeze’ the lash into place along your lash line. The other side is used make any small adjustments to get the lashes in place such as moving the edge of the lashes up or down instead of using your bulky finger tips. 5. Dual Set Of Tweezers [Slant & Pointed] Slant Tweezers are the most commonly used tweezers and tend to get the job done with ease. Yet, there are times when you need more tweezer precision that can only be accomplished with pointed-tip tweezers. 6. Lash Comb After strip lashes have been successfully applied and the adhesive has had a couple of minutes to bond, a lash comb helps false lashes to be groomed, separated and to blend with your natural lashes. They are great for perfecting those small and sometimes tiny details of lash application. They are also great for plucking stray hairs for that perfect finish. 7. Top Quality Eyelash Curler It is all about quality when using a lash curler. You want a curler that will be able to fit the entire width of your lash so they can be curled together with one effortless squeeze. Higher quality lash curlers will allow you to get a more curved lash that just cannot be achieved with economy curlers. 8. Mascara Guard Keep your mascara on your lashes and off of your makeup. It allows you to apply mascara perfectly, while protecting freshly applied concealer, powder or makeup around the eye area. 9. A Large Head Mascara Wand Use a quality large-head mascara wand to further lift and separate your lashes and to blend the false lashes with your natural lashes for a perfectly finished look. You may also use a specialty product such 'Lash Magic' that simply blends your natural lashes into the false ones making them undetectable. It does not add length or thickness to your lashes so your lashes will remain clump-free and can be easily removed without ruining a perfect pair of lashes. ©2016 All Rights Reserved.
