How professionals can work as force multipliers in the current government Set up
India is a country on the brink of a revolution. From being a third world country,
India is transforming itself into a global superpower. For this purpose, the role of
each and every citizen is important. The role of professionals is particularlyimportant as they work as force multipliers in the implementation of government
policies.
India, while growing at a tremendous speed, still needs work in various sectors like
human resource where it ranks globally in the H!I inde" , the education sector
and the infrastructure sector. The government has set clear and ambitious plans for
each of the sectors and plans to e"ecute them in the ne"t few years. Here is where
the professionals play their role. #ot only do the professionals help formulate the
best possible and realistic plan, but also help the government in the e"ecution of
the said plans. $et us look at some e"amples.
Take the case of !elhi %etro where professional companies like $nt and &ombardier'. ( sir )nish this, write about contractors )nishing work on time and professional
behavior of the companies*
$ooking at another case of citizen empowerment , the +dhaar scheme is a perfect
e"ample where a professional, #ilekeni( verify* , was called from the private sector
to e"ecute the plan ' ( write about adhaar*
In the education sector, with the passing of the ight to -ducation +ct , the private
schools are now imparting education to the underprivileged and the underserved
groups in our nation and helping the government to not only provide education to
the youth of the country but also provide high uality education to the students that
provide them with the ability to think critically and compete at a global level.
These e"amples show that not only can the professionals help the government ,
they are actually working as force multipliers. The professionals can come in and
assist the government where any e"pertise is needed or they can act as multipliers
where the work is done e/ciently and at a much greater pace or on a much larger
scale.
In conclusion , I would like to point out that India is on its way to become a
superpower and we shall need the contribution of both the government and the
professional to achieve the said goal.
