Simple Network
Management Protocol is
called SNMP.
SNMP is a protocol to
determine a
communication method
of the information that
watches network
machinery on the IP
network, and to control
it.
A management programuses massages
conforming to the SimpleNetwork Management
Protocol (SNMP) to pollthe agent programfunning in various
network devices. Whenthe agents reply, the
SNMP console programaggregates the
information and presentsit graphically.
MIB is called
Management
Information Base.
MIB consists of the
aggregate of the
object in a database
managing the
substance in the
network.
