ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color. Music is one of those

things that are incapable of sustaining life, but things like music, art, and poetry these are the types of things that we stay alive for today.

Background Information Music is an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions

in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color.

American music began its evolution with the 17th century Native Americans, and the instruments they played. Native American music was known to be spiritual and often used as a form of worship, or performed in a ritual specific to their religion.

By the 1920's, radio broadcasts of music began to increase, providing more intense competition.

How music impact others?Music is involved with several aspects

of American social and cultural identity, through socioeconomic status, race, gender, religious beliefs, and even sexuality.
