How Global Mobile Works

This is Global Mobile on your BlackBerry desktop

This is what you’ll see

After you download Global Mobile you will see this icon either on your desktop or in your applications folder, of your BlackBerry. This depends onwhat model of BlackBerry you have.Next you will click on this icon to set the calling gateway. By default it is setto a Toronto number.

Default Settings

When you install Global Mobile it is set for Toronto. If Toronto is your home baseyou don’t have to do anything—you don’t even have to click on the Global MobileIcon!

If you need to change the city

Suppose your “home” city is Toronto, and you are travelling to Montreal or you don’tlive in Toronto. No Problem, Global Mobile goes with you! Simply click on the GlobalMobile icon on your BlackBerry and choose the city you are in. In this case the arrow is pointing to Montreal.

Once your city is set…

…and saved…

You are ready to make calls

1. Select user from BB address book2. Press menu button on BB 3. Select Global Mobile” from menu

Choose what number to call

If contact has more than one number in address book,

select the number you wish to call

Try it!

Call gets generated using a local access number!
