At first glance this link does indeed explain the speed of a turtle, but instead of talking about how fast a turtle can run on land it explains how fast a “sea” turtle can swim. The infromation is interesting but not what was intended, lets try a more specialized search.

Unlike the first link to my last search, this link not only gives the speed of a land turtle like the search intended, but also gives the top speeds of all turtles, land, aquatic, or sub aquatic
