1. Received Pronunciation

Holmes (2001) explained that Received Pronunciation, abbreviated as RP, is the accent of the best educated and most prestigious members of English society.English in general has 24 consonants, 12 cardinal vowels and 9 diphthongs (Indriani, 2005).

2. Drilling

Richards and Rogers (2001) stated that drilling is included into the audio-lingual method.

Rodgers (2001) said, foreign language learning is basically a process of mechanical habit formation

Brook distinguished between short-range and long-range objectives of this method (Brook, 1964, in Richards and Rodgers, 2001).
