Particular Social Groups?

My Music Magazine represents my target audience of teenage girls due to the content and style of my magazine. My magazine shows what

teenage girls like for example the feminist colours including blue, pink and purple as I have used this a lot throughout my magazine. The

pictures I have used in my magazine are of a teenage girl therefore my target audience can relate to her as they are of a similar age. The girl I

have used for the pictures in my magazine is fashionable, pretty and has nice hair and makeup; this shows the interest teenage girls have of style, fashion and beauty. I have only used one girl in my magazine

which means that I have used little diversity but I have used different outfits to represent different styles and colours in order to appeal to

and be relatable to a variety of teenage girls.

My magazine is targeted at a large and wide audience as I have chosen to aim towards teenage girls as a whole group rather than a specific age group so that I am able to attract lots of people to read my magazine. I

chose the genre of pop and fashion as I feel that this would be the most popular category that teenage girls would be interested. In my opinion a large percentage of my target group have an interest in fashion and pop as I found this during the research stage; because of this I believe that

my magazine will attract a large audience to read it due to the representation of teenage girls.

My magazine cover is on the left, the magazine on the right is a music magazine I looked at during my research. I have used a similar casual

pose for the model in the main image is I feel that this represented an element of a fashion house style in my magazine. I have put my main image in a similar positon Billboard by positioning the image in the

centre of the page surrounded by the article titles. I have used a fashionable outfit for my cover image to show the fashion house style

and that my target audience are interested in clothes and fashion. I have used similar colours to the Billboard magazine including blue, pink,

black and white and other bright colours to represent the colours my target audience (teenage girls) like.
