How do I……find DVDs and videos
in the Library?
Click on Advanced Search.
Enter a topic or title of a DVD or video.
o From the “Type” drop-down menu select DVD or video.
o Click on Search.
Click on a title to get to the Item Information Record.
DVD Item Information Record
Most DVDs are located on the second floor of the Learning Library.
The Call Number is the item’s “address” on the shelves.
This tells you which library the item belongs to.
This record indicates that the DVD has been checked out by another patron and is due back in 4 days.
Some DVDs are put on Reserve at the Circulation Desk.
Please take the call number to the Circulation Deskand a staff member will retrieve the item for you.
DVDs on Reserve
o DVDs on Reserve at the Circulation Desk can be checked out for 3 hours and viewed in the Library.
o DVDs on short-loan can be checked out and taken out of the Library for 48 hours.
