My blog on word press is one of the most important aspects because I used word press to put all of my work on to so it can be marked. I have inserted polls, pictures and videos on to word press.

Planning + research • for my planning and research one of the first things I did was look at other film

trailers and analysed them in detail what I liked and disliked about the trailer. • I then did a proposed idea where I said : what genre I would like to do. Where its going to be set How many characters I am going to use Suggested name Out line of the plot • I then took time to do a story board where I drew pictures to illustrate the shots I

would like and I also took time to colour it in to give it more affect.• I then did a poll asking the public and my fellow peers to vote for what genre they

would like to see more of- I did this to get some audience feedback of what they would like to see rather than just my own opinion. I then wrote up the result of the poll and horror/ thriller came up the top answer.

• I then went on this website: http://www.dafont.com/To find out different fonts I looked on this website, I then typed my proposed title in and looked at the different fonts, I then copied and pasted the ones I liked on too a word document, I then posted that to word press and commented on the one that I found most effective and why I thought this.• I then went out and did some filming for my trailer just trying out the shots which

worked best and which shots didn’t work so well, I posted this on my blog and commented on the different shots.

• I then started to focus on my ident I looked on YouTube for video tutorials to help me to make my own ident.

• I then started to consider about the costumes my characters were going to wear I wanted them to dress like they normally dress but because I wanted it to have that wintery feel I asked to bring cardigans, jackets and scarfs.

• I then did a character profile of my 3 characters: Leonna Mulraney Alice Barrett Will Patrikiadis I gave them a character overview and how I want to be portrayed within my Trailer.

Construction of my trailer

Adobe After Effects CS5I used Adobe After effects to do my ident for my trailer, what I did was I first of all used the text tool and wrote CK films I then went on a effect and then transition and dragged the spinning transition over it. Then the difficult part in actually making it move came next this took me along time and I struggle with this but I kept at it and looked at different tutorials on You tube which helped me a lot, I then finally got it to move although I then found that it was moving way too fast and it was only spinning a certain amount so I had to mess around with the key frames in order for it to finally move and put a timer on how long it would take.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS5Premiere pro was the software I used to make my trailer and titles for my trailer without this piece of software it would have been very difficult to do. Within this software I used a number of different effects:• Titles was one of the main effects – I

changed the font to Trajan Pro.• Sound was another big effect which

impacted my trailer hugely I used a combination of different sounds starting with:

bell reverse and Big hit for the ident of my trailer.

I then used churched for the main music throughout the trailer this had a big impact on my trailer and made it seem more scary.

I also imported all my footage onto this software.

Construction of my poster and magazine cover

Adobe Photo shop cs5I used adobe Photoshop for the

construction of my movie poster and magazine front page. For the magazine I used the text tool a lot, on this I can enhance the size, font and colour, on this tool I can also use strokes and bevel emboss which makes the words standout more like magazine covers should. For the picture of my magazine I used the lighting setting to make it slightly lighter in order to give it that glowing effect. My movie poster i used some of the same tools but as you can see i made the picture black and white in order to give it that eerie look. For the font i used Trajan pro the same as my titles on my movie trailer.

Evaluation • In my evaluation to gather some feedback on my trailer, I asked my fellow media

students if they could fill in a questionnaire which I found on the computer on a word document.

• I will also use Microsoft power point, which I have used in previous years, and I will answer two of the questions by using the PowerPoint software. I will insert pictures into it and use many of the different tools with on here, I will then upload it to the software slide share.

• I will also be using a voice recorder for one of the questions where I will probably then use the software sound cloud in order to upload my sound clip to my blog.

• I will finally use a video camera and do a video of me and a friend analysing my trailer and getting them to give me some feedback on the trailer for the question about Audience feedback.
