How Can I Improve My Golfswing?

How can I improve my golf swing? The question is, how can you improve your golf? There are so many different methods thrown at us golfers. Whether our goal is breaking 100 for the first time as a high handicapper, breaking 80 consistently for the improving golfer or increasing our chances of hitting the magical hole in one, we golfers are all striving to improve our golf. From my experiences at golf and I’ve had some great successes, from winning prizes in local competitions, breaking 80 at least four times in stroke play competitions ... to scoring a hole in one twice, the second one coming just this month - all golfers want more. We want the best clubs, the best balls, and we are all desperate to continue the improvement process. I, for one, believe in the following methods for improvement: Finding a swing technique that you can replicate consistently ... take a look at all the professionals not one has the same swing as each other, but they repeat their own swing over and over Finding the right equipment that suits your game; including custom fitting your clubs to suit you i.e stiff flex shafts, degree of loft etc Practising whenever you can ... even at home without a club Having a pre-shot routine that you carry out prior to every shot is a must if you want to stay in the here and now i.e the shot you are about to play And above all, playing with what you have on the day; by this I mean if you turn up on the day of the Club Championship with a slight fade when you normally hit a draw, DO NOT try and fix it there and then. Play with it. There are many ways to improve your golf, but stick to the practice ground to make changes and hone your skills. www.whoisbazsmith.com

How can I improve my golf swing?

The question is, how can you improve your golf?

There are so many different methods thrown at us golfers. Whether our goal is

breaking 100 for the first time as a high handicapper, breaking 80 consistently for the

improving golfer or increasing our chances of hitting the magical hole in one, we

golfers are all striving to improve our golf.

From my experiences at golf and I’ve had some great successes, from winning prizes

in local competitions, breaking 80 at least four times in stroke play competitions ... to

scoring a hole in one twice, the second one coming just this month - all golfers want

more. We want the best clubs, the best balls, and we are all desperate to continue

the improvement process. I, for one, believe in the following methods for

improvement:

Finding a swing technique that you can replicate consistently ... take a look at all the

professionals not one has the same swing as each other, but they repeat their own

swing over and over

Finding the right equipment that suits your game; including custom fitting your clubs

to suit you i.e stiff flex shafts, degree of loft etc

Practising whenever you can ... even at home without a club

Having a pre-shot routine that you carry out prior to every shot is a must if you want

to stay in the here and now i.e the shot you are about to play

And above all, playing with what you have on the day; by this I mean if you turn up

on the day of the Club Championship with a slight fade when you normally hit a

draw, DO NOT try and fix it there and then. Play with it. There are many ways to

improve your golf, but stick to the practice ground to make changes and hone your

skills.
