NUTRILITE™ POWER OF 5™ IMPACT REPORT 9 LEARN MORE AT POWEROF5.NUTRILITE.COM Amway has developed a daily micronutrient supplement, Nutrilite™ Little Bits,™ that provides 15 essential vitamins and nutrients to children age 6 months to 5 years old. Partner programs provide education about hygiene, nutrition, dietary diversity and other important topics to help families improve their overall health. Program participants receive skills training to help improve their economic security. Food distribution is an important part of all partners’ programs. Typically, rations are provided for the entire family. Every program demonstrates its effectiveness in improving malnourished children’s health by tracking their height, weight, hemoglobin levels and other qualitative indicators of growth. DISTRIBUTION PARTNERS We work with non-governmental organizations and humanitarian groups around the world to distribute Nutrilite ™ Little Bits ™ as part of established programs that also offer food provisions, nutrition education and measurement of children’s growth and health. CARE helps lead these efforts and also oversees funds raised. Our long-term goal is to create sustainable behavior changes that benefit entire families as well as malnourished children. In addition to Nutrilite ™ Little Bits, ™ this requires education about health and nutrition, skills training to help boost a family’s economic status and supplemental food. Children’s growth is also monitored as part of all programs.
