How to Reach Saputara

This beautiful place is not directly linked by any means of transport excluding the state highways. These highways play an important part in linking Saputara with other cities of Gujarat.

You can go Saputara by airways that are provided by Surat and Mumbai Airports. Surat and Mumbai airport is situated at a distance of about 205 km and 250 respectively from Saputara. Ideally, flights to almost all the cities of India are available. Waghai station is directly connected with Mumbai and usual train facilities are available from here to many cities in India. Taxis, bus and other local transports are also available for visiting this beautiful city and hill station.

comfortable. The summer temperature is of around 27 degree Celsius to 31 degree Celsius where as in winter temperature lies from 9 degree Celsius to 20 degree Celsius. Throughout the year the weather is cool and pleasant to visit. The monsoon reaches to Saputara in around middle of June and remains up to end of October. People can visit Saputara any month but the ideal months of the tour is from middle of March to middle of November.

Saputara. Ahwa city is termed as entryway to Saputara which is located 42 km from Saputara. This city is popular for the tribal festival named Dangs Darbar that holds during festival of Holi. Dandkeshwar Mahadev Temple of lord Shiva is the main attraction in Ahwa. At this place tourist can enjoy fabulous show of Dangi dance performed in fast pace in an energetic movement.

Another place is Waghai which is known as main gateway to Saputara situated near about 50 km from Saputara. Waghai is an attractive small town developed in a wonderful surrounding. GiraDhodh or Gira falls or is the most amazing waterfalls nearby. The Vandsa National park is another tourist attraction close to this place from where anyone can enjoy the environment of wildlife.
