Room to Reward is an exciting new charity and the first of its kind in the hospitality industry. Quite simply it rewards deserving charity workers with complimentary hotel breaks donated by our hotel partners.

To our hotel partners we offer the opportunity to put unsold bedrooms to great use. To our charity partners we offer the chance to show gratitude to their outstanding workers and to our hidden heroes, we offer the surprise and luxury of a hotel break. 

Our hidden heroes are those who make great personal sacrifices day after day, devoting their time to others in a quiet and unshakable way.

We fully appreciate, of course, that all volunteers and employees working for registered charities are busy making other people’s lives better. However, there are those who unstintingly give more - it may be the extra hours they put in without being asked, the number of years they have volunteered, or it may just be something special and unexpected they put into action that makes a big difference.

They look for nothing in return – and this inspired us to create a way to say a big thank you.

Our Hotel Partners

Room to Reward is delighted to have the support of many hotel partners already who have offered a great number of short breaks across England and Wales. Our goal now is to expand Room to Reward across the whole of the UK.

We are looking for both independent properties and hotel groups who will be proud to work with us and become advocates for helping our hidden heroes.

For our hotel partners, there are no contractual obligations or long term commitments.

The rewards on offer are as follows:

• 1-3 night breaks

• Bed & Breakfast only

• All breaks are subject to availability

• No firm commitment is sought from partners to fulfil reward requests

• All we ask is that you respond to requests with the dates that suit you best

• Alternatively you may  pledge a break on a specific date which we will offer to a deserving hidden hero

An unsold hotel room can never be sold again. This was one of my first lessons at college and it explains why all conscientious hoteliers should join in and support Room to Reward. As hotel operators we are in a privileged position in that we are able to help reward those who truly deserve it.”

All hotel partners may nominate a registered charity of their choice, which our current partners have found is a great way to acknowledge local or national causes and give something back to the community.

Our Charity Partners

We are proud to be working with many registered charities, including Macmillan Local, Wales Air Ambulance, Lymington Sailability, Autism Wessex, Oakhaven Hospice Trust, Help & Care, Dingley Family & Specialist.

All our charity partners may submit nominations at any time to reward their special employees or volunteers and our hotel partners will be extremely proud to play their part in delivering the rewards.

Rest assured that Room to Reward has a clear and defined process in place to make sure only the most deserving hidden heroes are rewarded with a hotel break.
