Junior Olympics—Detroit, MI Englewood Junior Raiders Track Team, Bergen County Xpress Track Team & Bergen County Xpress teams will compete in the Junior Olympics July 25 th —August 5 th in Detroit, MI. DEACONS MINISTRY A Resident Deacon will be in the office to assist the membership with

dire needs and may be reached by phone at 201-500-6001: Monday-

HOLIDAY; Tuesday-HOLIDAY; Wednesday-Harold Oliver;

Thursday-Joe Jackson; Friday-Lorene Frasier.

phone calls and visitations.

NEW LIFE WOMEN’S MINISTRY 2017

RETREAT IS CURRENTLY SOLD OUT! Payments for the New Life Women's Ministry 2017 Retreat taking

place on Friday, September 29th - Sunday, October 1st will be

accepted today in the Fellowship Hall. The retreat is currently sold

out – no new registrations will be taken at this time. NOTE:

Registrants who only paid the $50 deposit will lose their space if

the full balance is not received by the July 23rd deadline.

DEACONS MINISTRY

CORPRATE PRAYER Corporate Prayer will not be held on the following two Tuesdays,

July 4th and July 11th. Prayer will resume on Tuesday, July 18th at

7:00pm.

As a reminder, prayer cards are available at the welcome desk and in

the lobby bins to submit your prayer requests; prayer boxes are

outside the sanctuary. All requests are prayed over individually and

specifically.

MINISTRY ANNOUNCEMENTS

REGISTER FOR 2017 VBS TODAY! Please visit the Fellowship Hall today to register for 2017 VBS that

takes place July 10-14. This year’s theme is “Super God, Super Me,

Super Possibility!” Classes are available for ages 4-Adult. You may also

STRENGTH AT NOON - VBS Strength at Noon will be held on Tuesday, July 13th at 12:00 noon

with lunch served at 11:30am. This is a special session for Vacation

Bible School.

CBC EDUCATIONAL COUNCIL 2017 COLLEGE

SEND-OFF REGISTRATION NOW OPEN The Educational Council announces that 2017 College Send-Off

Registration is open online through July 15th. Students who are

graduating from high school and entering a two or four year college

this fall, as well as returning college students are encouraged to

participate in the program. Additionally, the Educational Council

is requesting a donation of $10.00 or more to purchase items

needed for the College Send -Off, however, we will gratefully

accept any amount. Please visit the Fellowship Hall following

services to drop off your donation.

African American Heritage Museum

of Southern New Jersey, Inc.

The African American Heritage Museum was founded in 2002

with a goal of bringing the African American experience to life.

The museum is in two NJ locations and features an extensive

collection of over 9,000 historical and cultural artifacts and

exhibits. Admission is free—donations are encouraged.

The two locations are at 661 Jackson Road, Newtonville, NJ 08346

and Noyes Art Garage, 2200 Fairmount Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ

CBC SECURITY MINISTRY ANNOUNCES CBC

JUNIOR SAFETY MINISTRY The CBC Security Ministry is seeking young men and women, ages

12-18 to serve as volunteers in the new CBC Junior Safety

Ministry. The ministry will provide training on general safety

procedures, fire safety, bike safety and drug awareness.

NEW MEMBERS ORIENTATION

The next New Members Orientation will be held on Saturday,

September 9th at 9:00am. All new members that join during the

summer months should attend this session.

FAITH FAMILY & PRAISE 2017 This coming Saturday July 8th, will be the 1st Faith, Family & Praise

Festival. Our own Assistant Minister of Music Tyrell Belle will be

a featured gospel artist in addition to others including Charles

Jenkins, Nancy Jackson-Johnson, Wess Morgan, Latice Crawford,

Jermaine Dolly, Kasey Edwards, Bryan Andrew Wilson and more.

The event takes place at Six Flags Great Adventure Sound Stage and

will be hosted by Radio Syndicate Personality Liz Black. This is going

to be a fun-filled experience for the Kingdom of God and you still
