We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, customer service driven, college students, majoring in

hospitality or recreation, to join ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals for an exciting and

educational summer internship! We will first consider seniors and then juniors, who are currently

Our IEs act as internal business consultants to support our servicing and operations business

groups. Our primary goals are to enable superior customer experiences while reducing costs, by

improving and optimizing processes. You will be involved & leading efforts to collect data,

analyze for insights, develop proposals & recommendations for senior leadership, and deploy

improvements to our systems & processes. Projects will give exposure to multiple different

Qualifications

•Working towards a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering. (or equivalent)

•Undergrad IEs must be in progress on their upper division course work. (junior / senior)

•Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout summer.

•Minimum commitment of full summer. (typically 14 weeks, mid May to mid August)

•Ability to relocate for summer to service center location.

•Ability to commute & work at service center / office location.

•Develop, test, and support a variety of custom software applications that support all business

applications within the business side of the organization.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field. Advanced

Degree preferred.

•Object-Oriented programming experience (e.g. .NET, Java, Swift).

•Experience in data modeling using tools such as R and/or Python.

•Knowledge of and familiarity with emerging web standards (e.g. HTML5).

•Experience with relational database development including Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014

and/or Oracle in addition to proficient knowledge in SQL Programming, SSIS, and Visual

Studio.

•Familiarity or basic knowledge of Microsoft based products including Windows, Windows

Server, and Microsoft Office. Linux experience is a plus.

•Mobile application development experience is a plus (iOS and/or Android platforms).
