• Great Lakes engineering team worked with the customer to develop a hot aisle containment strategy and some custom products to meet their specific needs.

Motion activated lighting helps save energy by turning off lights in PODs that are not being serviced

• Enclosures have no rear doors which provide better airflow and easy quipment access

• Fire suppression and detection installed at ceiling (no

containment modification needed) • Temperature measurements taken in the hot aisle were 78oF • Temperature measurements taken in the cold aisle were 68oF

creating a delta between equipment intake and exhaust of 10oF • Hot aisles in this data center are very comfortable for

equipment technicians to work in
