We are delighted to announce the VISAGE 2019 to take place as a joint meeting and part of Monte-Carlo Aesthetics.

Organized in association with the School of Medicine & Institute of Face and Neck (University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France), VISAGE offers a unique model of a large scale European Academic event dedicated to teaching and training in aesthetic medicine of the face.

Under the direction of Dr. Philippe Kestemont, Prof. Laurent Castillo, Prof. José Santini and Prof. Patrick Baqué, VISAGE introduces the latest and most efficient techniques in facial aesthetics through an extensive practical program & hands-on training.

VISAGE is a postgraduate training program in aesthetic medicine which combines workshops, anatomy laboratory sessions and hands-on tutorials in a clinical setting. An emphasis is put on practical knowledge and skills as well as sound knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the superficial structures of the face.

Our mission is to base all our teachings on evidence-based applications, safe practices and methodical guidelines to ensure an ethical and accurate representation of the aesthetic medical specialty.

Established under an innovative learning and teaching format, VISAGE will provide medical practitioners with maximum exposure to the scientific, clinical and industry information necessary to introduce non-invasive aesthetic procedures in their practice.

Each participant will inject one half of the patient face in front of an expert for evaluation, 30 min per candidate.

Participants will have the opportunity to receive individualized hands-on training in minimally invasive aesthetic procedures.

This is an essential part of the program taking place in a clinic and at the school of medicine to provide the candidate with the ideal setting to observe, understand and demonstrate the clinical skills required for aesthetic procedures.

ALLERGAN est leader en part de marché sur le secteur de l’esthétique faciale avec une part de marché de 58 % en 2013.La gamme JUVÉDERM® se compose des produits suivants : Juvéderm VOLUMA® with Lidocaïne, Juvéderm® VOLIFT® with Lidocaïne & VOLIFT® RETOUCH, Juvéderm® VOLBELLA® with Lidocaïne, Juvéderm VOLITE®, Juvéderm VOLUX®, Juvéderm ULTRA® 2, ULTRA® 3 et ULTRA® 4, Juvéderm ULTRA SMILE® et Juvéderm® HYDRATE. Ces produits sont composés de gel stérile, apyrogène et physiologique d’acide hyaluronique. Juvéderm VOLUMA® with Lidocaïne est un implant injectable indiqué pour la restauration des volumes. Juvéderm® VOLUXTM est un implant injectable indiqué pour la restauration et la création des volumes du visage. Juvéderm® HYDRATE est une solution indiquée pour l’amélioration de l’hydratation et de l’élasticité cutanée par multiinjections. Les autres produits sont destinés au traitement des dépressions cutanées, à la res-tauration des volumes du visage et/ou l’ourlement des lèvres. Le traitement par produit de comblement peut nécessiter plusieurs retouches dans le temps pour atteindre la correction souhaitée. Après une injection d’un produit de la gamme JUVÉDERM®, des réactions locales peuvent apparaître de façon immédiate ou retardée, et sont souvent liées à l’injection elle-même : rougeurs, inflammation, érythème, etc., pouvant être associé à des démangeaisons, des douleurs à la pression et des picotements. Ces réactions peuvent persister une semaine. Des hématomes, une induration ou des petites boules (nodules) au point d’injection, une coloration ou une décoloration sur la zone traitée peuvent également apparaître. Des cas d’abcès, de granulome et d’hypersensibilité immédiate ou retardée ont été rapportés après des injections. Des événements indésirables rares mais graves associés à l’injection intravasculaire de produit de comblement dans le visage et à une compression des tissus ont été rapportés. Cela inclut des troubles temporaires ou permanents de la vision, la cécité, une ischémie ou hémorragie cérébrale, conduisant à un AVC, une nécrose de la peau et des dommages aux structures sous-jacentes. La persistance de réactions inflammatoires au-delà d’une semaine ou l’apparition de tout autre effet secondaire doit être signalée par le patient au praticien dans les meilleurs délais qui devra y remédier par un traitement approprié. Tout autre effet indésirable lié à l’injection d’un dispositif de la gamme JUVÉDERM® doit être signalé au distributeur et/ou fabricant et en application de l’article L.5212-4 du CSP à l’ANSM. Les produits JUVÉDERM® sont des dispositifs médicaux de classe III, marqués CE 0459. Ils sont non remboursés par les organismes d’assurance maladie.
