Day 1, Saturday Today we travel by motor coach to

Chicago where we overnight at the Four Points by Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Airport.

Day 2, SundayThis morning we board our flight

to Anchorage, Alaska. Upon arrival we will be transferred from the Anchorage Airport to the Comfort Inn, downtown Anchorage. This after-noon we enjoy a narrated Trolley Tour of Anchorage. Your evening is free to enjoy the sites and sounds that Anchorage has to offer.

Day 3, Monday This morning we take a scenic train ride from Anchorage to Seward where we board the highlight of our trip, the Norwegian Cruise Line's Jewel for the next 7 nights. Day 4, TuesdayToday we cruise through the

longest river of ice in North America, the Hubbard Glacier. It is also one of the most active glaciers of its kind in Alaska. And since our ship is designed to provide you with the best viewing possible, you’ll be able to see this massive natural wonder, with its 1,350 square miles of translucent blue ice, from just about anywhere in the ship. Day 5, WednesdayToday we spend the majority of our

day tendered at Icy Strait Point, Alaska. Icy Strait Point is located near the city of Hoonah, the largest native Tlingit Indian settlement in Alaska, and very near Glacier Bay National Park. Home to a historic cannery, the port's connection to the sea is strong. Locals share the sea with humpback whales, orcas, Dall porpoises, seals, sea otters, halibut and all five species of Pacific salmon…and you just might spot a humpback or an orca while walking along the shore. Day 6, ThursdayThis morning we dock in Juneau,

the capital of Alaska, to spend the morning discovering all this beautiful city has to offer. Founded during a gold rush in 1880, this former gold mining town counts some of Alaska’s most spectacular scenery among its riches. After our time in Juneau is over, we board to cruise the Sawyer Glacier. B, L, D

Day 8, Saturday

We find ourselves docked in Ketchikan, Alaska, this afternoon. Ketchikan is the “Salmon Capital of the World,” but there’s so much more to the area than just its abundant fishing. The locals will tell you that

the best way to see the area and enjoy the scenery is to just spend the day strolling through town. B, L, D

Day 9, SundayCruising through the Inside

Passage is really what has made Alaska cruising so popular, and that’s how we spend our day today. This trip captures so much of what people love about Alaska. There are glaciers the size of Rhode Island, misty rain forests, ghostly blue fjords and spirit-

ed communities that celebrate their varied heritage. We get to take in every view as we sail through one of the most beautiful parts of Alaska.

Day 10, MondayWe arrive in Vancouver early on

our final day before heading to the airport for our flight to Chicago. Upon our arrival in Chicago, we board our motor coach transfer back to Appleton. B
