Getting to Amanpuri Amanpuri lies on a peninsula on the west coast of the Thai island of Phuket. Amanpuri is a 30-minute drive from Phuket International airport (HKT).

Direct flights connect over 50 cities including Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Beijing, Doha, Dubai, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, Moscow, Singapore, Seoul, Shanghai and Sydney.

Island Life & Activites The turquoise waters that surround Amanpuri offer voyages of discovery in every direction, whether it’s island hopping on one of Amanpuri’s yachts, waterskiing or scuba diving the pristine reefs.

On land, the lush vegetation is complemented by a rich cultural history, including 30 Buddhist temples on the island, five excellent golf courses, and the serene crescent-shaped white-sand Thai beaches.

Amanpuri’s own Pansea Beach lies at the bottom of a dramatic sweep of stone steps, and offers exceptional snorkelling just offshore. Guests can also enjoy time out in Amanpuri’s Wellness Centre – a serene oasis set on the hillside.

Activities

Cruising

One of the most scenic and enjoyable ways to experience Phuket is from the water, and Amanpuri has one of the largest resort charter fleets in Southeast Asia. The professionally-crewed vessels range from 6-33.5 metres and carry a variety of recreational equipment on board.

Most Amanpuri cruises pass through Phang Nga Bay, a labyrinth of forested limestone pillars, and Koh Phing Kan, the island famous for its role in the James Bond movie.

The Phi Phi islands lie around 80km southeast of Phuket, with crystal-clear waters for snorkelling and diving.

Scuba Diving

Popular dive sites within easy reach include Racha Island, Koh Kai Nok and the aptly named Shark Point – famous for its friendly leopard sharks, vivid sea anemones and moray eels.The spectacular wall dive at Koh Dok Mai includes caves and crevices filled with kaleidoscopic marine life.

For the ultimate diving experience, take a day trip to the Similan Islands, around 80km north of Amanpuri.

Water Sports

Enjoy access to a host of complimentary non-motorised water sports activities on our tropical beach such as paddleboards, Naish SUP, Schiller bikes, Hobie Mirage Eclipse, snorkelling gear, Hobie Cats and kayaking equipment.

For motorised water sports, MasterCraft XSTAR wakeboarding boat, Kite Surfing, Seabob, Flyboard, Flightboard eFoil and stand-up jet skis are available for guests with sailing experience. Sailing, stand up paddle (SUP) lessons and kayak tours are also available.

Eco-Beach Centre

The Eco-Beach Centre Programme has been designed by Aman to cater to families, offering meaningful and memorable experiences for kids and teens that will leave them wanting more! Located only 20 steps from the beach with stunning ocean views, unique exploratory gardens, Nature Museum, top-end outdoor OC Ramp skateboard halfpipe, Enter-Prises custom bouldering wall, and epic water sport toys, this programme is second to none. The centre encompasses two separate areas; the Hot Spot with action sport programmes designed for ages 12 and up, and the Eco-Beach Centre with exploratory science and nature activities for ages 5 and up.

Aman Wellness Center

Our collection of wellness services, spa treatments, experiences, journeys and rituals connect the past, present and future by marrying ancient healing philosophies and practices with modern-day expert advice on wellbeing and nutrition, fitness, movement, energetic bodywork modalities and result-orientated treatments using the latest technology in holistic beauty therapies.

The spa features twelve spacious treatment rooms: 6 couple treatment rooms and 6 single treatment rooms. Each couple treatment room is with its own steam room, shower, bath, and dressing area. The wellness center includes a sauna, a granite steam room, infrared saunas, Jacuzzis and cold plunge pools, meditation room, yoga sala, finishing salon for nails and hair, a fountain terrace and a juice bar where health drinks are served.

Aman Wellness Immersions

Designed to promote profound change, these bespoke programmes aim to gently steer participants on a new path. Whether guests seek to increase fitness levels, shift unwanted weight and its emotional root causes, deep cleanse their systems or attain renewed awareness, Amanpuri’s Immersion Experiences ensure palpable results and a deep sense of inner peace and happiness.

Gym

Perched at the property’s highest point, the glass-walled gym enjoys sweeping sea views and includes a Pilates studio, Muay Thai studio, free weights and a variety of cardiovascular equipment.

Group Wellness Sessions

A variety of complimentary daily group wellness sessions are offered, including meditation, fitness classes, beach activities and tennis lessons.

Swimming Pools

Amanpuri’s main 9 by 27-metre freshwater swimming pool is clad in midnight-blue tiles at the heart of the resort.The Pool Terrace offers a 20-metre lap pool.

A 10-metre children’s pool is set back from the beach.

Tennis

Amanpuri offers four floodlit tennis courts. Hitting partners, tennis rackets and balls are available.

Venues & Capacities Drawing its name from the Sanskrit for ‘Place of Peace’, Amanpuri is one of the most exclusive resorts in Southeast Asia, offering a broad choice of private venues in which to host corporate and social events over multiple days.

Offering consummate privacy are the resort’s 40 private Villas – each with spacious lounge, media room and dining area, ideal for special events and non-traditional meeting spaces. The Boardroom is a meeting room and the Magnum room is a private dining room which can also serve as meeting room.

Then there are the resort’s restaurants, each with a unique ambience and outlook. Arva is the resort’s signature Italian restaurant, while Nama serves exquisite Japanese cuisine. Buabok, Thai restaurant, overlooks the resort’s main swimming pool, and the Pool Terrace with its al fresco terrace and pool lies just steps from the sand. The Lounge and The Bar are both convivial meeting places.
