• Attire for State Finals: ANY store bought pageant dress is appropriate, flower girl type dresses are ok for girls 0-7 years. Floor length dresses

should be worn on 8 and older. Dresses can NOT be custom made and must have a brand tag inside the dress. This could result in point

deduction if ignored. Boys may wear Sunday Dressy best, suit, or tuxedo. It’s suggested to keep accessories to a minimum so the girls beauty

shows through and not a distraction. Shoes should not be visible when wearing a long dress. It is suggested that babies wearing short dresses

• Contestants will represent the first title they win, unless prior arrangements have been made with the local or state director.

• If you choose to not attend state finals, the opportunity will be offered to the next highest score contestant.

• Contestants will compete at state as of their age on November 20, 2015 at the state level. Please have a birth certificate copy with you (do not

turn in to us) just in case questions arise.

• Teen and Miss Contestants should have never been married or have children.

• MS contestants may be with or without children ages 24 + and be unmarried.

• MRS contestants may be married with or without children and any age 20 –55.

• State winners of queen, princess, or duchess as well as ALL supreme titles, humanitarian, and ambassadors will qualify for AmeriFest US

Nationals (also king, prince, and duke). Nationals are July of 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Gaylord Opryland Resort.

• State Deadline for entry will be October 31, 2015 postmark. If you need an extension you may request through email only.

• State host hotel is the Hyatt Regency—Group rate will be given when asking for the Kentucky Festival discount for your stay. (859)253-1234.

State finals is Nov 20-22 (date competing depends on age, it is not required to stay there). Please see the age division schedules inside.

• All contestants must be natural born females (excluding boys divisions birth—11 years)

• All photos for preliminaries and state level should not be Glitz—touched up photos. E.G. eyelashes added, teeth added, etc. This is a natural

pageant! Photos may be color or black and white and no larger than 8x10. Must NOT have frames. MUST include contestant name and age

on the back of each photo. It is required that EVERY contestant submit a photo for the program book contestant page. All photos must be

mailed, NO emailed photos will be accepted. Photos will be returned at the pageant. Age division photogenic photos may be brought to the

pageant—We only need mailed : contestant photo, and any photo contests you are participating in, such as centerfold, cover, theme, etc.

• NO checks will be accepted after the deadline. Money order , cash, or credit card only.

• State applications may be hand delivered at the State Workshop TBA —posted on website or by Oct 31st postmark.

• At no time are refunds granted or fees forwarded —we order gifts, crowns, and trophies based on entries received.

• Items accepted for the 2015 charity supreme and humanitarian awards are as follows and should be new items; new toys for Christmas toy

drives, New Bibles for Kentucky Kids Bible Mission, Big Brothers Big Sisters donations of toys, games, gift cards, or coats—hat, glove, and

scarf donations for Brown Cancer Center in Adult Sizes, or stuffed animals for the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Kentucky. The humanitar-

ian slip is enclosed if you choose to participate. You would turn the form into us—NOT the items. The only items we accept at the pageant

are Bibles or new gloves/scarf/hat in adult sizes for Brown Cancer Center. We ask that EVERY contestant bring at least a Bible or glove/hat

donation when they arrive for pageant registration. Humanitarian slips can be found online under the state pageant link.

• All scoresheets are returned after the pageant—judges decisions are final and shall be respected

• All tabulation of scores will be by computer and occur on site in the actual ballroom of competition.

• State Grand Supreme winners must set out of the festival circuit for one year—or until they reach the next age level of competition. All other

winners or supremes are eligible to recomplete in 2016.

• All entry forms are due by the deadline date unless prior arrangements for an extension has been made.

• Kentucky Festival Pageants and Ameri-Fest LLC are NOT responsible for injuries, lost, stolen, misplaced items at the pageant, traveling to or

from the pageant.

• All ads must be postmarked by October 31st with payment enclosed. Any Ad extensions must be approved by state offices and are not

guaranteed to make the printing of the book. Ads should be copy ready and may not be emailed.

• All photos submitted for photo contests, web content, or program books must have consent of photographer and copyright release. This is

your responsibility to obtain the copyright release for any and all photos submitted to Kentucky Festival Pageants, by submitting the photo

you agree that you have permission to use the photos. Any photos submitted, taken at the pageant by staff or Pine Mountain Photography may

be used in future advertisements and social media, signing the pageant application means you comply with this statement.

• If for any reason the Grand Supreme winner obtains another title or obligation that forbids them from representing their Kentucky Festival

title, the duties will be passed onto the Mini Supreme winner during the reign. If a Teen or Miss contestant becomes pregnant during her reign

or gets married, the Mini Supreme will take over the appearances and duties for the remainder of the reign.

Last but not least we are NOT a glitz pageant. We look for the girl next door beauty. You can have light make up on younger girls to age 12 and heavier makeup on Teen & up. No fake eyelashes, fake hair, or fake teeth under age 13. Any acrylic nails should be kept short and natural. All dresses MUST have a tag inside stating brand / size. We do NOT allow custom made dresses. All gowns may have rhinestone, sequins, pearls, or embellishments but NOT custom made. This can result in a point deduction on your attire score. If you are unsure of anything please email us at kyfestivals@hotmail.com— Spray Tans are permitted on 13 and older when kept natural looking. Pre-teen contestants may not have spray tans, but could use products like Jergens natural lotion, etc.
