• INTRODUCTION :- The Indian hotels company limited (IHCL) and its subsidiaries are collectively know as Taj group and is recognised as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company . Incorporated by the founder of the TATA Group , MR. JAMSETJI N. TATA , The company opened its first property , The Taj mahal place hotel , bombay in 1903 . The Taj a symbol of indian hospitality . completed its centenary year in 2003 .

• Taj group comprises 93 hotels in 55 locations across india with an additional 16 international hotels in the Maldives, Malaysia , Australia , U K , USA , Bhutan , srilanka africa & the middle east .

The hyatt corporation came in to being upon purchase of the hyatt house at Losangels international Airport , on september 27 /1957 . In 2015 fortune magazine listed hyatt as the 78 th best U.S .company to work for .

• The orginal owners were entrepreneurs Hyatt Robert von Dehn and Jack Dyer crouch ;after a few years , Von Dhen sold his share in the hotel to entrepreneur Jay Pritzker .

• In 1969 , Hyatt opened its first hotel outside the united states, The hyatt regency Hongkong . In 1980 The grand Hyatt and park Hyatt brands were introduced . As of 30 november 2015 Hyatt had over 627 hotels worldwide .
