The Highest Quality High-Pressure Cylinder Filling Hoses & Tube Trailer Hoses...PTFE Style Gas Pigtail—PTFE or Tefl on® is chemically inert, virtually impermeable, and contributes to an extremely fl exible and long-life product. Our PTFE pigtail products range from ratings of 3000 PSIG to 6000 PSIG maximum working pressure. Our TSCZ PTFE hose features a thicker inner wall with two stainless steel braids. These features reduce permeation dramatically, while improving pressure resistance. We off er brass or stainless steel permanently attached end fi ttings.All-Metallic, Welded Style Gas Pigtail—Typically used for specialty, high-purity, or corrosive gas applications, all-metallic pigtails provide a zero-eff usion solution. Products include corrugated interior core of 316L stainless steel or Monel®, with multiple exterior stainless steel braids for pressure ratings as high as 4500 PSIG maximum working pressure. 3. The Industry’s Most Popular Liquid Cryogenic Hoses...For Liquid Cylinder Filling and Withdrawl—Ultrafl ex all-stainless steel hose is the most fl exible and easy to handle product in the industry. Our fi nest liquid cylinder hose, Ultrafl ex is ISO 10380 certifi ed for cycle life. Superfl ex liquid cylinder hoses are our standard duty product. Both hoses are equipped with machined fl are ends and optional armor casing.Bulk Cryogenic Hose—Unisource bulk cryogenic assemblies are constructed with all-stainless steel corrugated hose, stainless steel braid, and welded stainless steel female NPT ends. CGA adapters can be added at customers request—either threaded or silver brazed. Armor kink-resisting sleeves are added to each end of the assembly.

4. In-House O2 Cleaning and Testing...Unisource maintains control of all cleaning functions in our in-house cleaning facility. All cleaning and packaging is performed to C.G.A. standards. Cleaned hoses are clearly marked and tagged as “cleaned for oxygen service.”We hydrostatically test 100% of all high-pressure gas pigtails and tube trailer hoses to 1-1/2 times the rated working pressure of the hose. Specialty gas hoses are tested with high purity helium. Hoses are individually marked with working pressure, test pressure, and date tested. Mass spectrometer helium leak testing can be performed at customer request. All liquid cylinder hose and bulk cryogenic hose are pneumatically tested prior to fi nal packaging.

Style TSC - 3000 PSIG Rated w/ Brass End Fittings

Style TSC is an economically priced, flexible, lightweight, and durable pigtail that has become the industry standard for cylinder fill manifolds. These pigtails surpass the requirements of CGA E.9, and are constructed with a smooth PTFE inner core, and series 300 exterior stainless steel braid. An optional anti-whip, anti-kink “Safety Armor” is available for added protection. Each hose is marked with an aluminum belly band noting the working pressure and date manufactured. All assemblies are pressure tested per CGA E.9 to 1-1/4 times the working pressure and have a minimum burst pressure rating 4 times the maximum working pressure. A full range of end fitting options are available, allowing you to custom design the pigtail for your specific application.

Oxygen Service - A brass extension adaptor (BE-4-3HP) is recommended on all “PTFE” type hoses, to absorb the heat generated by adiabatic compression.

Style TSC flexible pigtails have a minimum burst pressure rating 4 times the maximum working pressure. The stainless steel armor casing allows free movement of the hose and protects the hose from damage. This casing also acts as a bend restrictor to prevent kinking near the connections and to enhance whip protection in the event of a cylinder falling or other similar incidents. Oxy-Extension Piece BE-4-3HP is recommended in oxygen applications to absorb the heat experienced in adiabatic compression and eliminate possible damage to the PTFE tube if the pigtail is quickly pressurized with oxygen against a closed valve or regulator.

Style TSCZEL & TSCZELZ are constructed with a smooth-bore ETFE lining, which offers 75% less effusion than standard PTFE pigtails. These assemblies are an economical choice for small molecule gases such as helium and hydrogen. Style TSCZEL is a 3000 PSIG hose with a single braid of stainless steel. Style TSCZELZ is a 3500 PSIG hose with two braids of stainless steel. An optional “Safety Armor” is available for added protection. Each hose is marked with an aluminum belly band noting the working pressure and date manufactured. All assemblies are pressure tested to 1-1/4 times the working pressure. End fittings are offered in both brass and stainless steel. Rated to +250°F. Not recommended for oxygen service.

Style UFHP22 and SF4500 “all-metallic” specialty gas pigtails are designed for small molecule gases (helium & hydrogen) and feature “zero permeation”. These hoses are constructed utilizing a corrugated 316L stainless steel inner core, reinforced with two

layers of stainless steel braid and features either a 316L ANPT male or female thread to ensure a tight connection. An optional “Safety Armor” is available for added protection. Each hose is marked with an aluminum belly band noting the working pressure and date manufactured. All assemblies are pressure tested to 1-1/2 times the working pressure and have a minimum burst pressure rating 4 times the maximum working pressure.

Style SF82 is an extremely flexible and durable Monel Hybrid, all-metallic, all welded construction that provides a “zero permeation” pigtail. This pigtail features an all welded corrugated Monel inner core with Monel end fittings for applications ranging from oxygen service to corrosive gas service. Two stainless steel braids are used instead of Monel braids to provide higher pressure resistance. The optional flexible stainless steel armor can be added for additional safety. Each hose is branded with the pressure rating and date of manufacture.

Hoses for tube trailer applications must offer the features of high working pressures, durability, and ease of flexing. Unisource Style TSHP (black, static-conducting, low effusion, PTFE core) and SF32HP (all-stainless steel welded design) combine all of these qualities. Designed to transfer gas such as helium and hydrogen from special high-pressure delivery trailers, Unisource “Tube Trailer Hoses” have crimped or welded 316L stainless steel end fittings and the option of adding our anti-whip, anti-kink “Safety Armor.” “Safety Armor” protects the exterior of the hose from abuse in operation for extended service life and to enhance whip protection in the event of accidental hose breakage. Style UF21 “ultraflex” liquid cylinder hoses feature an extremely flexible stainless steel inner core that is very durable and well suited for cryogenic transfer applications. Ultraflex hose is ISO 10380 certified, and comes standard with machined flare ends and stainless steel hex nuts. Each hose is permanently stamped with the MAWP pressure rating and date of manufacture.

Choose from the following CGA bronze trailer fittings to be added to the above hose assemblies. CGA fittings can be threaded on or silver brazed. Aluminum tail plugs available.

Style SF-21 “Superflex” is a durable all-stainless steel hose for the bulk transfer of cryogenic liquid. Each assembly is constructed with 321 stainless steel corrugated inner core, a 304 stainless steel single braid, and 304 stainless steel female NPT threaded coupling each end, to accommodate an appropriate CGA fitting. An 18 inch long 304 stainless steel armor bend restrictor is welded to each end. All assemblies can have CGA fittings threaded or silver brazed to each end for an extra charge. Assemblies are cleaned, capped, and bagged for oxygen service.

CO2 Bulk Liquid Transfer Rubber FDA Grade Hose

Style 2520FDA

Style 2520FDA hose is designed to handle the rigorous demands associated with the bulk transfer of CO2 liquid and vapor. Style 2520FDA hose outperforms all others. Each hose is constructed with a low temperature, smooth inner core (no more trapped CO2). Unlike rubber hydraulic hose that are constructed with carbon steel braids, Style 2520FDA hose is reinforced with stainless steel braids to resist carbonic acid corrosion. The rugged “pin pricked” outer casing will not bubble and is resistant to abrasion, ozone, and weather. Style 2520FDA hose is rated at 450 psig, and will operate from -65 degrees to +180 degrees F. A heavy duty brass FNPT fitting is attached to each hose end by use of a high temperature plated steel crimp collar that interlocks the two components. Hose sets (liquid transfer and vapor) are available.

Beverage CO2 Delivery and Cylinder HoseStyle 4770

Style 4770 thermoplastic hose is specially designed for the transfer of liquid and gaseous carbon dioxide (CO2) for beverage applications. It is commonly used on squirt truck delivery reels as well as flexible lines from the restaurant wall-box to liquid cylinders. Series 4770 hose is specially formulated to perform well in temperatures as low as -40°F, and the proprietary core tube is plasticizer-free and FDA compliant. Our unique bonding process guarantees excellent kink resistance, and the proprietary “Tuff-Skin” cover provides for superior handling and abrasion resistance.

Note: To order bulk hose, simply specify 4770-08 and the amount of feet.

1 – Gases that are flammable or poisonous should be filled, stored, transfilled, or used in a well ventilated area.

2 – Always use Unisource BE-4-3HP brass extension piece to absorb the heat experienced in adiabatic compression.
