5. Read the second clue and adjust position of horses if necessary.
6. When finished, discuss the method used for arriving at the solution.
7. Continue as a whole group activity, as necessary, with other clues.
8. When ready, place a group of the different colored horse markers
at each table for students to share.9. Read aloud the clues from the Four Horses clue cards while students
or partners arrange the horses in the correct order according to the
clues.
10. After all the clues have been read, go back and have students share
their solutions. Discuss the methods they used for arriving at those
solutions, and address any discrepancies.
