WHY only 1 % of total sum?
• Small amount of proposals from LT
• High competition and limited budget. Not all above
threshold evaluated proposals are funded, because of
limited budget of the pillar. We support an idea to rise the
budget for this pillar in Horizon EUROPE
• Sometimes difficult to join advanced partners in actions

Project „Industry 4.0 impact on management practices
and economics“ (No. 810318, 2018 – 2023).
Implemented by KTU School of Economics and Business
The objective of the IN4ACT project is to implement
structural changes at the KTU School of Economics and
Business through the opening of an ERA Chair in “Industry
4.0 Management and Economics” research, to increase
research excellence, socio-economic impact, international
reputation, and attractiveness to international talented
researchers and students. An ERA Chair team of 6
international researchers will be recruited to achieve an
objective of the project.

Twinning
Project „Knowledge-Empowered Entrepreneurship
Network to position Kaunas University of Technology at
the forefront of EU research in entrepreneurship (KEEN)“
(No. 810329, 2018 – 2022).
The overall objective of the KEEN project is to strengthen the
research excellence of University in entrepreneurship, improve
its capacities to exploit and disseminate its research outputs,
and enhance its ability to engage the public in its research and
entrepreneurship awareness, understanding, and acceptance.
To reach such objective, the KEEN project will create with
Cranfield University (United Kingdom), Bergische Universität
Wuppertal (Germany), and Universität St. Gallen
(Switzerland), a network named “Knowledge-Empowered
Entrepreneurship Network”.
