Hope is an emotion characterized by positive feelings about the immediate or long-term future and often coupled with
high motivation, optimism, and a generally elevated mood.
Whenpeople feel hopeful, they tend to experience fewer
mental health problems. Conversely, people experiencing despair are more likely to have depression, anxiety, panic
attacks, and other problems

the future; one of the most important predictors of success for youth.
