*Artistic Statement*How blessed is it that our lives have hope!Even if we are inside of pure darkness, there is always a single light that leads us toour new life.People seek their own righteousness,People seek their own destiny,Hope is what we wish to have.Hope is the main thing that creates warmth of heart. Hope makes us think about our dreams and thoughts.I want to wake up the hope inside of my pictures.After each rainy day,The sun will rise up.

*Biography*I was born in Korea and later moved to California when I was in the 6th grade. I didn’t know a single thing about English, so then I started to look for some other way that I could express myself without words. Then I found art. By drawing, painting, designing, and taking pictures, I could express my feelings to others and even tell them stories without words. Art was my only dream since I was little and it still goes on. So art became the most important thing in my life, but it also became my major problem. The white canvases were so huge, and I want to fill them with my dreams, thoughts, and my hopes.
