but he doesnt/didnt realize Cassius wanted him dead for the envy/jealousy. Soon he figures out
that and realizes the truth I killing Caesar and take things in his own hands.
Brutus showing that he regretted killing caesar. I found no man but he was true to me. I
shall have glory by this losing day More than Octavius and Mark Antony By this vile conquest
shall attain unto.( act V . scene 5 . lines 35 - 38 ) Brutus respected Caesar as man more than
anyone else in his life. He always felt honored to be acquainted with him in his life. Brutus
realizes his mistake in killing Caesar; No good came out of it. A lot of Plebeians, the people of
Rome, disliked him, a civil war started, Cassius died, and Titanius died. The death is affecting
him more than Octavius and Mark Antony. He believes that him killing Caesar caused all of the
other deaths after him. Brutus is taking full blame of the massacre going on in Rome and it is
really breaking him down physically and emotionally. what else could go wrong at this point?
Also Brutus stabbing himself is a tragic flaw because he felt guilty for killing
Caesar.Farewell, good Strato-Caesar, now still; I killd not thee with half so good a will.( act V
. scene 5 . lines 50&51) Brutus realizes he did not succeed in Rome becoming better from killing
Caesar. Brutus is apologizing to Caesar and the whole country of Rome for the terrible thing he
had done. He realized things got worse, a civil war started and more than Caesar got killed from
the killing of Caesar. Brutus killed himself because of his one goal; making Rome a better place.
This is why Brutus is a tragic hero because in all he did there was no good aspect. Brutus hoped
and dreamed of a better place to come but it just never showed up.

Even though Brutus possesses the tragic flaw of him regretting killing Julius Caesar.
Brutus regretted killing Caesar so much that he couldn't bear to live. Brutus and Caesar had a
very good relationship throughout most of the play. Brutus Though that if he killed caesar than it
would help his country. Brutus killing caesar did not help Rome and now brutus is full of regret.
Brutus couldn't take living anymore so he decided to kill himself to get away from his anger.
This shows that Brutus is weak and couldn't live with the choice he made. The way we just have
to look at it is that Brutus wanted to succeed so bad but when failure struck, he just didn't have
the strength to live with himself so he just let it all go.
