Now in its 9th year, Honey Pot is designed to create opportunities for works presented at Adelaide Fringe to go on to tour other festivals, events and venues both nationally and internationally.

In 2016, Adelaide Fringe will individually tailor your festival experience by helping you to navigate the Fringe guide to find works which speak specifically to your programming tastes.

Through Honey Pot there are fabulous opportunities to access accommodation support, request complimentary tickets, network with industry peers, meet Fringe artists and VIP access to the Fringe Club and much more.

The Honey Pot program is the only boutique program of its kind in the world! Do not miss out on this sweet as honey opportunity!

The 2016 Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM) held in Brisbane, Queensland will overlap with

Adelaide Fringe, so if you are planning on attending APAM why not extend your arts market tour to visit Adelaide Fringe’s creative marketplace Honey Pot!

Participate in the Honey Pot program and your work may be discovered by guest festival directors and programmers who are invited to visit Adelaide Fringe to find work to present at their venue and festival programs.

The Honey Pot program provides opportunities for presentations and touring, new commissions, collaborations, residencies, professional development and networking.

Each year Adelaide Fringe hosts Festival Directors & Programmers from around the world.Twenty countries have been involved in this unique program since it began! In 2015 we hosted participants from Canada, China, Czech Republic, Indonesia, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan and the UK. Impressive!

All Honey Pot selected shows are promoted to our guests via our special Honey Pot Events Guide. Our unique matchmaking and ticketing service suggests works within the guide that match the programming tastes of our Honey Pot guests. You could be globe-trotting before you know it!

Our weekly Honey Pot Hive sessions at the Fringe Club create a relaxed atmosphere for you to meet our Honey Pot guests and chat your way to extending the shelf life of your work.

You can nominate to be part of the Honey Pot program as part of your Adelaide Fringe registration via FERS (Fringe Event Registration System).

GRAvity & Other Myths

Adelaide circus troupe, Gravity & Other Myths presented the show Freefall in the 2011 Adelaide Fringe and was awarded the Melbourne Fringe Tour Ready Award to perform at Melbourne Fringe later that year.

In 2013 and 2014 they returned with the showA Simple Space.

PonydAnce Where Did It All Go Right? (Honey Pot 2012)

First timers to the Adelaide Fringe in 2012, Ponydance’s show Where Did It All Go Right? was programmed at the American Dance Festival.Artistic Director Leonie McDonagh was then invited to be Choreographer in Residence in 2014.

Peter BAEcKer (Honey Pot 2014)

A first timer at the 2014 Adelaide Fringe, Peter came specifically to be part of the Honey Pot program.

Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority programmed Peter Baecker to create the Peter Baecker Playground – performance installation, happenings and talks for 7 weeks as part of the Village Bizarre.
