St. Paul, in his leƩer to the Romans, states; “But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” While we were living a very sinful life – not even thinking or car- ing about God – that is when He died for us! It does not maƩer about our past, our parƟcular sins, our issues, our problems, our dysfuncƟons, or our anxieƟes – Christ beckons us to come to Him - to rest in Him. “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will nd rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Let us lay down the burdens of the world and pick up the Cross of Christ! As we enter into Holy Week, we should contemplate the immense love that God has for us. We should not hesitate to enter into the Passion of our Lord so that we are healed from the things that have kept us from experiencing His Great Love. Let us sacrice ourselves – lay down our bur- dens and desires - so that we can more clearly see and ex- perience His Great Love! A love that calls us to join in the Passion of Christ! A love that calls us to give of ourselves to God and our neighbor! When we give of ourselves, or sac- rice ourselves, we will receive and come to a greater un- derstanding of God and His sacrice for us. Then, we will truly enter into the mystery of the Passion – the Great Love of God! I pray that you will all have a wonderful Holy Week and look forward to seeing everyone at the various events and Masses throughout the week and especially Easter. God be with you, Fr. Keith O God, Who by the Resurrection of Thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, has been pleased to give joy to the whole world, grant, we be- seech Thee, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may attain the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ Our Lord, Amen. Dear Friends,

As we move into Holy Week a er the cele-bra on of Palm Sunday, let us be ever mindful to the extent of the love God poured out on us through the Passion of our Lord, His Son, Jesus Christ!  St. Paul, in his le er to the Romans, states; “But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” While we were living a very sinful life – not even thinking or car-ing about God – that is when He died for us!
