Staff and students have been busy preparing for December with Fes- ve Spirit Days, Carol Sings and our Parent Teacher Council has been planning for our annual Pancake Day, Pictures with Santa, and Poinsea Pick-up just to name a few. During the month of November, we shared a hearelt Remembrance Day Ceremony by the Fort Erie Royal Legion, Junior and Intermediate Volleyball Seasons, Bully Prevenon Week and an amazing Colour House Day led by our Grade 8 leaders. As Polar Bears, we all shine brighter together! In the Foyer, we have laid out our Lost and Found items and Mr. Badger is collecng canned goods for our family Christmas baskets. Come check it out and make a donaon. Thank you and as a staff we wish you a very resul and relaxing holiday! Polar Bear Families Peace Bridge needs Bingo Volunteers This is a very easy way to make money for our school This money can be used for educational trips sports clubs yearbooks plus so much more Last year we received $22000 for our school This year with the lack of volunteers to work these bingos our budget is half of that What does this mean It means that some of the things that we have done in the past wonrsquot happen anymore For example Scientists in the school Pottery busing for trips sports equipment and yearbooks are just some examples All of this was previously offered at no cost Please consider volunteering for Bingo There is a 2-hour training session that usually takes place twice a month Our bingo hall is Uncle Samrsquos beside the Little Ceaserrsquos Pizza The times and days vary Two volunteers are needed for each two-hour shift What is required of you is minimalndash greeting the customers opening the doors for them as they arrive wiping tables and straightening up the chairs in-between Bingo sessions If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please email awharkins8gmailcom or contact the school As always Thank you Polar Bear families for your continued support

Food Drive

Me to We club (with the help of Mr Badger) is collecting non-perishable food items for families in our own Fort Erie community Please bring in non-perishable food items such as soup pasta noodles canned beans and Kraft dinner The collection boxes are in the front foyer of the school Thanks for your support

In January we will be having a hot dog lunch We will be asking for donations for ketchup mustard and relish They will be sold for $125 each We are also looking for volunteers to cook
