PE- Daily exercise, walking, running or cycling. Transition activity: Mrs Ward and Mrs Bibby have set you the challenge of creating a self-portrait for a display in your new classroom. Draw and colour in a drawing of your face. Take your time and use a mirror to add detail to your self-portrait. Thursday Reading: Superheroes and Comic Books reading comprehension below. Writing Task: Transition booklet. Complete the message to your new teacher for Mrs Ward and Mrs Bibby which is the back page of the booklet. Tell them how you are feeling about year 3 or share something you would like them to know.

Explanatory notes/messages to class here: Hello Year 2, It has been fantastic seeing so many of you in school, you have all worked so incredibly hard! Well done! This week is our transition week, therefore many activities this week will help to prepare you for Year 3! When you have completed your transition booklet, shield and self-portrait bring them into school with you during the week commencing 13th July. Alternatively, you can email copies over to me. Any work completed in school for the transition booklets will be sent home that day to be added to your booklet at home.
