English- Day 5- Friday-26.6.2020
LO: To describe a setting. The inky night sky was endless. Every now and then a blaze would flash across the sky. A shooting star! They looked like silent rockets whilst the others stood still twinkling gently like fairy lights. Below the sky, violently the waves crashed like a clap of thunder. They were as large as mountains crashing together. After smashing together the sea would silently foam and bubble whilst waiting for the next tumble. To one side shimmery, cold ice glistened like diamonds. At times it almost looked like sugar. At the bottom of the deep ocean there was a mysterious coral cave. It was filled with jewels of coral that sparkled like rubies.
Tip- start by
describing the top of the picture and then work you
way down.
