IMPORTANT: Submitting Work During Term 2
Work to Be Submitted:
Students in Stage 1 are encouraged to complete 5 activities a day but choose three activities a week to submit to their teacher. The chosen activities should consist of:
• 1 Literacy activity • 1 numeracy and • 1 other activity (for example, this 3rd task could be a creative task or a task related to
another learning area).
Please note: that the numeracy activities are in a separate booklet to the other tasks.
Submitting Work Online:
Students should submit their tasks via Seesaw (or Google Classroom for S1S2S Students). Teachers will give feedback on each child’s chosen activities by the end of the following two week period. Students are asked NOT to submit more than three activities per week unless requested to do so by their teacher.
Handing in Work Offline:
Parents whose children are unable to access Seesaw or Google Classroom can submit work at the school. During Term 2, there will be a tray for each stage at the front of the school where completed work can be handed in. Parents that have to use this method of submitting work are requested to submit only the three chosen tasks NOT the entire booklet. Work should be labelled with student name and class. Teachers will prepare feedback for work handed in at school during the following fortnight’s period. For example, feedback for the work from weeks 1 & 2 will be prepared in weeks 3 & 4 and be available for collection in week 5.
Important: Handing in work and collecting feedback from school is at a parent’s discretion. Social distancing and public health are a priority for our school, and therefore parents should only hand in or collect work from school if they feel entirely comfortable doing so.
