Hello. I’m Bradley Hoffman, owner and founder of Veteran’s Art Collective. I am currently finishing my Graphic Design degree program at Savannah College of Art and Design. I currently reside in Northeastern Ohio and work full time as private military contractor with the US Army, as well as having served 9 years, completing two combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Veteran’s Art Collective is a combination of my art work and veteran outreach programs. My favorite medium to work with is watercolors, but I also work as a tattoo artist during my off days. In the following pages are examples of my work as an artist, as well as several products my work has been used for.

I specialize in American Traditional tattoo flash and tattoos.

My main medium is watercolor and liquid acrylic, as well as India Ink. I use a technique called spit shading to create the shading and different

tints in my work. Most of my watercolor work is done on 140 Lb/300 G watercolor paper, and is

inspired by the American Traditional works of Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins, as well as other tattoo artists who have become lifelong

friends of mine as I pursue my dream of becoming a graphic

designer within the veteran community.

Along with traditional tattoo art, I have begun to work with several companies to create original brand and logo designs. My work with

these companies is still based on the traditional aspect, but instead of a physical medium, I use Adobe

Photoshop and Illustrator to capture the essence needed for these works. I have worked with

several companies, such as Honda Custom Cycles, Stay The

Course, Honor Thread, and Lox Hair Wax Co. I am currently

designing several re-brands for Kilo Co. Gear and a TV show on The Sportsman’s Channel called “Chili off The Grid”. Please use the

During my deployment to Iraq in 2009, I was taskedwith documenting the majority of the combat missions. I picked up the hobby of Combat

Photography during this time. Due to our missions being of a sensitive nature, as we were working

hand in hand with Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force (CJSOTF), some photos can not be shown on this web page due to operational security, but I

feel that those I can display truly show a different side of combat that the main stream media will not show. I hope that my photos will allow the

public to see amore humanized version of our military.
