Profile
Sensei Scott Langley - 6th Dan is one of the
youngest people ever to win the World Championships
and has over 30 year’s experience practicing and
teaching karate.
Scott spent 5 years studying at the Japan Karate
Shotorenmei World Headquarters in Tokyo and
graduated from the infamous Instructors’ Course, one of
only 5 foreigners to do so in its 55 year history.
“Scott Langley is one of the few instructors to have learnt
karate in Japan from the source. He teaches the true art
of karate. In Europe this is very rare and should be taken
advantage of!” Yutaka Koike 5th Dan – All Japan

Sensei Palma Diosi 5th Dan
Has been Hungarian National Champion an unprecedented twenty times! Starting karate at an early age in Africa, she returned to her native Hungary and started training under the guidance of the Hungarian National Coach. Going from strength to
strength in competition, she quickly became an indispensable member of the national team. Internationally, Palma achieved 3rd place in the European Championships and Silver in the World Championships.
Palma moved to Ireland to teach with us at the Hombu Dojo in 2011. She has become a vital member of the teaching team and is now the HDKI Ireland National Coach. Palma is now the highest graded female in the HDKI.

Sensei Ross Stewart 3rd Dan
comes to us from Ayr in Scotland where he was with JKS and SKA, both teaching and coaching successfully. He has been competing since he was 10 years old and at 13 he became the WKC Juniors Kumite World Champion.
He came to us fresh from his experience of coaching the Scotland squad in 2014 at the WUKF European Championships and has been acclaimed as a vibrant, fun and passionate instructor of karate. He was the 2010 JKS European Cup Kumite Champion and gained silver in the same competition with kata. In 2012 he (and his team) became JKS World Kumite Team Champions. He also holds many championship medals with other karate organisations.

Sensei Andrius Janusauskas, 2nd Dan Audrius (to us "AJ") is originally from Kaunas, Lithuania where he started his karate journey in 1992. He first was exposed to Shotokan Karate under
the instruction of Audrone Sirokova 6th Dan and it quickly became his life passion.
In 2004 he moved to Ireland and soon joined his local Shito-Ryu Karate club where he competed nationally and internationally. AJ started training at the Hombu Dojo in 2013 where he attained his second Dan under Scott Langley. In September 2016 he joined the full time teaching team. AJ is a dedicated and enthusiastic instructor who teaches all variety of students of different ages and advance levels.
Sensei Karen Smith, 1st Dan Karen started karate in her late thirties and very quickly fell in love with the physical and mental challenges the dojo presented. Training regularly
under Scott Sensei, she started competing under the guidance of Palma Sensei, and is currently GB WTKO champion, second in the European Championships, has several national titles and was runner up ONAKAI veteran in 2013. She particularly enjoys training and competing alongside her youngest son. She recently started teaching in after-school clubs, where her experience as a pre-school teacher has helped greatly.
