A Prayer for Eucharistic Ministers
Jesus, bless these hands you
have chosen as your tools.

Cry out with joy to God, all the
earth.
God is bringing new life to the
earth. We are seeing more green,
more colors from the new flowers.
We hear the singing of the birds,
the air smells a little fresher from all
the rain. And there are no mosqui-
toes - yet. It is just such a great
time to be outdoors and soaking up
the sunshine. I think that is what
makes Easter so special. We will
continue to celebrate Easter for a
few more weeks.
Today we catch a glimpse of the
most important shore lunch ever.
Jesus comes to gather us to himself.
He is always inviting. Yes, He give us
instruction, where to fish, so to
speak, but in a fatherly sort of way.
And after we have worked all night,
discovering it is better to listen to
Him, He knows we are hungry and
need nourishment. Not only does
He give us physical food, but spiritu-
al food too. Do you love me? Four
words with so much meaning. Our
reaction is to say immediately, yes, I
love you. But then does our re-
sponse sound like Peter's response
to Jesus at the Last Supper. "Lord, I
will lay down my life for you!" Easter
is a celebratory time. I think it is
planned celebration. We need to
get excited about our faith. We
need to get involved with our faith.
We need to share our faith with oth-
ers. So what can I do?
Join us the first and third Wednesdays of the month for

munity or just need some quality baby and toddler play time, we are look-
ing for help with childcare during our meetings. Please contact Angie or
