This Sunday we begin the liturgical season of
Ordinary Time. Today’s Gospel reading describes the beginning of Jesus’
ministry & his first miracle, the wedding at Cana.
Marriage and wedding guests are metaphors used
in Scripture to describe God’s salvation and the Kingdom of God. This lavish response of producing vast quantities of wine is a vision for us of the abundance of God’s kingdom. It challenges us to respond generously when
confronted with human need today. We respond as best as we can, fully confident
that God can transform our efforts, bringing the Kingdom of God to fulfillment among us.

“The best, the surest and most effective way of establishing everlasting Peace on the face of the earth is through the great
power of Perpetual Adoration of the
Blessed Sacrament.” Saint Pope John Paul II Join us for Adoration every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to Midnight then Wed. 5 a.m. to 8 a.m.
