Holy Family School Annual Fund Report 2013-2014 Page 1 Dear Friend of Holy Family, I am pleased to present the 20132014 Honor Roll and Annual Report to Donors. While fundraising contin- ues to be a challenge for many schools in this economic climate, including ours, it is important to recognize that the gifts we receive go a long way to helping our students, faculty, programs, and facilities. To all of you who have given, thank you. To those of you who have thought about it, or have thought that your gift will not matter, I encourage you to join us in reading about the meaningful impact your donor gifts have made. From a $20 gift to a full scholarship, private support does make a difference. In this report, we celebrate the generosity of our many families, alumni, and friends who have invested in Holy Family through their charita- ble giving last year of time, talent, or treasure. Your efforts to “pay it forward” will live on for generations through the countless students who come to our school to, as Archbishop Chaput says, “be formed in their Catholic faith, a love of God, and an abiding respect for the human person.” This year we increased our EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) funding for scholarships to $87,000. EITC provides companies with a 75 percent tax credit for donations to a non-profit scholarship program, of which HFS is a recipient. Please call me if you would like your company to participate in this program. With EITC funds, our partnership with the Foundation for Catholic Education, and your contributions, we were able to help 54 students stay in Holy Family last year. With your assistance this past year we were also able to implement security improvements, enhance our writ- ing program, upgrade our computer lab, supply our sixth graders with their own iPad, and provide our middle school students with the ability to learn Spanish at home or school! Turn the page to learn more! I hope you are as awed and grateful as I am that, with your help and through the grace of God, we are able to accomplish so much. I thank you for partnering with us to help grow Holy Family, whether through your gift of prayer, service, and/or financial participation. Please know we keep you and all of our benefactors in our prayers each day! Dear Friend of Holy Family,

I am pleased to present the 2013–2014 Honor Roll and Annual Report to Donors. While fundraising contin-

ues to be a challenge for many schools in this economic climate, including ours, it is important to recognize

that the gifts we receive go a long way to helping our students, faculty, programs, and facilities. To all of you

who have given, thank you. To those of you who have thought about it, or have thought that your gift will not

matter, I encourage you to join us in reading about the meaningful impact your donor gifts have made.

From a $20 gift to a full scholarship, private support does make a difference. In this report, we celebrate the

generosity of our many families, alumni, and friends who have invested in Holy Family through their charita-

ble giving last year of time, talent, or treasure. Your efforts to “pay it forward” will live on for generations

through the countless students who come to our school to, as Archbishop Chaput says, “be formed in their

Catholic faith, a love of God, and an abiding respect for the human person.”

This year we increased our EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) funding for scholarships to $87,000.

EITC provides companies with a 75 percent tax credit for donations to a non-profit scholarship program, of

which HFS is a recipient. Please call me if you would like your company to participate in this program.

With EITC funds, our partnership with the Foundation for Catholic Education, and your contributions, we

were able to help 54 students stay in Holy Family last year.

With your assistance this past year we were also able to implement security improvements, enhance our writ-

ing program, upgrade our computer lab, supply our sixth graders with their own iPad, and provide our middle

school students with the ability to learn Spanish at home or school! Turn the page to learn more!

I hope you are as awed and grateful as I am that, with your help and through the grace of God, we are able to

accomplish so much. I thank you for partnering with us to help grow Holy Family, whether through your gift

of prayer, service, and/or financial participation. Please know we keep you and all of our benefactors in our

prayers each day!

Holy Family School Parents Say….. “We are so thankful to be a part of the Holy Family School community and have truly enjoyed each school year since our daughters first started in 2008. The teachers and staff are incredibly dedicated and the wonderful community spirit is made even stronger by the supportive and caring families that choose to send their children to Holy Family. Holy Family is truly a family-focused community of teachers, staff, students, and families and it’s the people that make it such a special place for all of our children.” ~ Helene & Chris Ouimet “’Our Catholic faith must totally and entirely be integrated in our lives, both for our own good and so our children can absorb it.’(Theresa Thomas) Sending our children to Holy Family School helps immerse our children in daily reflection and prayer. They are taught and encouraged to be more Christ-like.” ~ Jennifer & Odin Brutsche “I just wanted to tell you how welcomed and accepted the staff and all the parents have made us feel at Holy Family. Parents have gone out of their way to introduce themselves and offer their help in any way. My children look forward to going to school each day and keep telling me how much they LOVE it. So I just wanted to let you know how wonderful everyone has been to us and how grateful we are that we chose to attend Holy Family. “ ~ A Parent whose children transferred to Holy Family
