Dear members of Holy Family Parish ~ I want to share with you that I have given Fr. Rodel my no-
tice and plan to leave my position at Holy Family on March
5th. Five years ago when I came to Holy Family and took the
position left vacant by Gail Thayer's move to Indiana, I
knew it was not my life's work but an important part of my
spiritual journey to work here. I have been discerning what is
next throughout my five years working with amazing staffs
and 4 equally inspiring priests. I do not have another position
yet, but am clear that this is the time to move forward on my
journey.
It has been an honor working with all of you and I still get to
stay in touch with you as a parish member of Holy Family.
Blessings and deepest gratitude to you all....

Feb. 5th ♥ Fifth Sunday in Ordinary
Time ♥ Mark 1:29-39 In this story, we
learn how Jesus heals people who suffer
and are sick. Jesus shows people compassion and
kindness; they are healed and their lives are trans-
formed. Jesus is a prayerful person who speaks
about the goodness of God. Many people want to
listen to him and follow him. Remember and tell about a time when you were sick,
or perhaps seriously ill. Who do you turn to when you
suffer? Today, how can Jesus heal people who suffer or are
sick?

Hello, As you may know, 8th grade students at Holy Family have been working hard on their Independent Learning Pro-jects since October. My mission, alongside my mentor, Tammy Redsun, is to empower middle school girls my age to feel good about themselves through what they wear. I will be setting up a non-profit boutique at Lent's Middle School, a local middle school that is not as fortunate as we are. My goal is to have every girl leave with a new outfit. I am collecting mid-dle school girl's clothing of any type; including shoes, and ac-cessories. Anything from casual to dressy and everything in between is greatly appreciated. I'm looking for gently used, clean, age appropriate, and in variety of sizes from juniors to women's with youthful styles in mind. Collection bins and bags to take home and fill will be located in the entrance of the church and in the front of the school. Please bring back your donations the following Sunday or any time before March 1st. The event is March 13th and it will not be a success without your help and support! Donations can include:
Swimsuits
Socks
Skirts
Coats/sweatshirts/sweaters
Shoes/boots
Pants/sweatpants/jeans
Shorts
Scarves Also, if you have no clothing to offer the following will be ac-cepted (new and unopened):
Mascara
Lip gloss/lipstick
Body mists/perfumes
Nail polish
Hair accessories
Feminine products
Lotions
Deodorant We will be making grab bags for the girls to take home with using the above items. Any donations to make my boutique as successful as possible are greatly appreciated!
