UNCONDITIONAL STEWARDSHIP “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…” - -John 3:16 Is your Stewardship conditional? Is there a price others have to pay to receive your love and
forgiveness? Are you generous with your time, skills, money and possessions? If you give someone something, do you expect something in return? Do you give your time freely or do you “fit it in” when it’s convenient for you?
God desires a personal relationship with us so much that He gave us His Son, unconditionally! Pray for a grateful and generous heart.
A sincere “THANK YOU” to all of our loyal
sponsors, who year after year, continue to
support our parish bulletin by placing ads in
the back of our bulletin.
Please say “THANKS” to all of our sponsors
for their generous support and mention
their ad when doing business with them.
Suspension of public Masses, has suspended a great share of the income that Holy Angels Parish needs in order to carry on its mission of proclaiming the Gospel and meeting the spiritual needs of its parishioners. We are all facing difficult times, but please remember your parish as well.
For your convenience, consider joining many of your fellow parishioners who already participate in electronic giving.
If electronic giving is not an option for you, please continue your regular support of the parish, by dropping off your weekly contributions to the rectory office or sending them through the mail.
When using your collection envelopes, please DO NOT use tape, staples, stickers, etc. as these items prolong the process of counting the collection each week and in some cases, ruin the integrity of the checks and or cash inside. Thank you for your assistance with this and for your much needed continued support of the parish.
THANK YOU to all of our parishioners who generously continue to support the parish. Your sacrifice is greatly appreciated. See the info above on how to sign up for Parish Giving and help to ensure the ability of our parish to continue to serve you!
EGIVING…Sharing your weekly offerings with Holy Angels has never been easier! Electronic Giving has been available for a number of years and is successfully being used by many parishioners. To fid the link to Parish Giving, go to our Parish website: www.holyangelsnj.org, and sign up on the secure website, then manage your account anytime at www.parishgiving.org.
Once signed-up, you can use your checking account or credit card to set up customized recurring dona-tions based on the amount and timing of giving that best suits your needs.
Thank You for your active participation in Holy Angels Parish!

Preparing to Re-Open the Parish
Dear Parishioners,
We have received word from the Diocese of Camden that we can make various preparations
for the reopening of our parishes, scheduled, as of this writing, for the weekend of June 13/14.
Doing this at Holy Angels involves getting three locations ready for the celebration of Holy
Mass: St. Patrick Church, St. Matthew Church and the Worship Center. To assist me in
this process I have included a medical doctor, a paramedic and an EMT so that I can be advised
from their perspective as health care professionals/workers.
Once we receive permission to open, there are certain procedures that we are required to
follow. These will be published on our parish website (www.holyangelsnj.org), on our parish
app, in our parish bulletin, and on our parish Facebook page (Holy Angels Parish). I am only
going to scratch the surface here to explain some basic requirements and procedures.
Remember if you are sick, elderly, or particularly vulnerable at this time, you may still have to
stay home for a while and not risk putting yourself in a crowd. What I tell people is to use
common sense. Make the best decision for yourself and those you love.
We will be required to minimize the numbers at each Mass for social distancing purposes.
Fortunately, with our eight scheduled Masses each weekend, this provides plenty of
opportunity for people to spread out at each Mass.
Holy Mass will see some changes: no missals or hymnals in the pews, no sign of peace, no
Holy Communion from the chalices (the Precious Blood), the distribution of Holy Communion
will occur at the end of Mass, and possibly some others to be determined. Also, we will have
limited stations for the distribution of Holy Communion, so an absolute minimal number of
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will be used. There will be only one entrance at
each location used to enter for Mass so that we can keep track of numbers and be sure people
are seated far apart enough from each other. Bathroom access will be for emergencies only
and the cry room will not be used at this time.
We will post matters in more detail on the above-mentioned locations. Please remember that
good hygiene is important in trying to prevent the spread of disease. Be sure to wash your
hands thoroughly before coming to Mass, brush your teeth and gargle to kill germs, etc.
The diocese currently is requiring people to come to Mass with face masks. Also, please do
not to socialize with other Parishioners after Mass, even though we may be glad to see each
other.
While some of these initial requirements may be lifted with time, my purpose is to get people
back to Mass and the sacraments. It has been too long since I have seen all my parishioners in
front of me. I miss you and I want to get you back here as soon as possible.
Stay tuned and watch for future information!

Reading 1 Exodus 34:4B-6, 8-9 Early in the morning Moses went up Mount Sinai as the LORD had commanded him, taking along the two stone tablets.
Having come down in a cloud, the LORD stood with Moses there and proclaimed his name, "LORD." Thus the LORD passed before him and cried out, "The LORD, the LORD, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in kindness and fidelity." Moses at once bowed down to the ground in worship.
Then he said, "If I find favor with you, O Lord, do come along in our company. This is indeed a stiff-necked people; yet pardon our wickedness and sins, and receive us as your own."
Reading 2 2 Corinthians 13:11-13 Brothers and sisters, rejoice. Mend your ways, encourage one another, agree with one an-other, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the holy ones greet you.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
Gospel John 20:19-23 God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
Reading I: Exodus 34: 4B-6, 8-9 Moses meets God on the holy mountain, where God proclaims His mercy and justice. Moses then asks for pardon and the adoption of the people as His children.
Reading II: II Corinthians 13: 11-13 Paul acknowledges the problems of the community regarding relationships. He urges them to live in peace with each other in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Gospel: John 3: 16-18 The evangelist makes a connection between believing in God’s Son Jesus and not being condemned. That belief brings eternal life to all believers.
