Opening of St. George Skates Saturday, November 18
Thanksgiving Dinner, 6pm onwards. Skip all the cooking! Make your reservations today and enjoy a classic Thanksgiving
Dinner with your family and friends. Griffin's at St. George's Club is offering a special
$39 menu (plus grats). Wahoo's Bistro on Water Street will have Thanksgiving
dinner specials alongside their a la carte menu.
Town of St. George, 2pm onwards
Enjoy an afternoon of shopping and entertainment, including a special vendor market, in-
store discounts and games, an all-day 'Sip and Shop' at Second Hand Rose at the World
Heritage Centre, plus music and buskers. Then... the main event! Be there as The
Mayor & Councillors of the Town of St. George switch on the lights to usher in the festive
season!

Somers Garden
One of the most popular and exciting events from last year's holiday season is back!
St. George Skates ice skating rink will open at Somers Gardens on 18 November.
The rink will be open on weekends only initially, and then daily once schools take

Town of St. George, 6pm to 9pm
One of Bermuda's most celebrated Christmas Events, the Christmas Walkabout takes
you into the decorated historic homes of the Olde Towne. Special shopping deals, live
music and festive performances round out this ‘can’t-miss’ event! Consider staying in
towne for the weekend - see page 11 for hotel rates and specials.
King Square, 6pm onwards
The Corporation of St. George’s hosts this fun, family friendly night to
celebrate the Christmas Season, with performances from local dance groups,
a kiddie zone with bouncy castles, and of course a special visit from Santa
Claus himself at 8pm!
New Year's Eve Sunday, December 31
King Square, 8pm to 1am
The Corporation of St. George’s will once again host a New Year’s Eve
Celebration on King’s Square featuring live, local entertainment. And the
highlight at midnight - the onion dropping to mark the arrival of 2018! Food and
drink will be on sale. To dine in one of our restaurants, make your dinner

Carter House Christmas Sunday, December 10
Carter House, St. David’s, 4pm to 7pm
The Carter House 18th Century Family Christmas event will see Carter House and the
Settlers' Dwelling dressed in period Christmas décor plus local St David’s fare and
entertainment. Don't miss the visit from Father Christmas with his wheelbarrow of gifts!

Starting November 18, many stores will be open on Sundays between 12-6 and
Fridays until 7pm.

treats and discounts in-store.
