Accept Imperfection. While we always hope that the holidays will be nearly perfect, it is smart to remind ourselves that mishaps can happen. Remember to focus on what is most important to you, whether that be traditions, family, or the power of giving. The holidays can be a great time to reflect on what you are truly grateful for. 2. Respond with kindness. You can't control how others act, but you can control how you respond to situations. The holidays can be tough for some people, so try to not take things personally, and remember that you never know what others may be going through. A simple gesture of kindness can make all the difference for someone during the holidays. 3. Eat mindfully. It is easy to forget about health and wellness once the holidays roll in, which can lead to guilty feelings later on. 4 Mindfulness Tips to ManageHoliday Stress

1. Accept Imperfection. Breastfeeding for Health: The"Normal" Thing To Do!

On Friday, November 9th, AllisonLaverty Montag with WinnebagoCounty Health Departmentpresented at Wake Up withWOTFV. Allison discussed whybreastfeeding is so important tobaby's health throughout thelifespan, the challengesbreastfeeding moms face whenreturning to work, and howbusinesses benefit from havingbreastfeeding mothers in theworkplace.

At the Wake Up event, WOTFValso presented the 2017 BMI datafrom de-identified patient reports

expectations. This can lead to stress, resentmentand burnout. Make sure to take time for yourself thisholiday season. Doing activities you love or that helpyou relax can help you to have a more peaceful andenjoyable holiday.
