Fight Or Flight- Your Brain still thinks
there are predators about- Linked with Adrenaline
WHY DO WE GET NERVOUS?
Previous Experience- Memories of past
failures lead to insecurity
Pressure or Stress- The brains is
constantly analysing what is expected of you
Inhale and Exhale deeply
Hum the tune of a song before you present
Draw a figure eight with your eyes around the crowd (it helps with crowd interaction)
Gesticulate with your arms, especial ly if you’re wired and ful l of adrenalin
Positive Self-Talk
Don’t be afraid to pause and gather your thoughts for a moment, then start speaking
COPING WITH ADRENALINE
Not lett ing your nervousness control you
With preparation you know what you are going to say the content will be specific to the topic
Without preparation you wil l struggle to say anything. Wasting time thinking what to say in front of the crowd will cause you nervous.

Time yourself
Take some sweets!
