These frameworks have already gone through

the review process and all the generic business

units in the Global Trade and Business framework have been validated.

The consultation identified that students struggled with the international marketing units as they did not have knowledge of basic marketing theory.

The introductory marketing unit has now been included and should be

delivered before the International marketing units.

The consultation identified this Unit asa replacement for the existing InternationalLogistics (F26Y35).

This single credit unit covers the basic logistics knowledge and skills necessary, in addition to

replacing some practical knowledge covered by the old Exporting unit.

This Unit provides an introduction to the main international trade institutions and replaces the old International Institutions (D4XC35).

Much of the content is similar but being at level 7, this Unit is regarded as a moreappropriate introduction to the subject.

Where students have completed individual Units from the previous framework, they can be given credit transfer on a Unit by Unit basis.

It is given where there is broad

equivalence between the subject-related content of the Units, ie the Knowledge

and/or Skills have not changed significantly,

or are covered in the Unit for which credit is being awarded.
